Pros: Really fun and addictive game
Cons: Really really slow to load...need a really good graphic card to prevent this.

Pros: -3D graphics
-Game represents a perfect world where race, sexuality, and religion don't matter
Cons: -Micromanaging pooping and eating isn't exactly exciting
-Not enough social possibilities
The Bottom Line: The novelty wears off quickly. But if you can get the Sims 2 as a gift or get it on a steep sale, then you can try it out.

Pros: Genetics, body changes, Home Crafter, Body Shop, and of course the Woo Hoo option.
Cons: Not enough Maxis objects, and too many user created objects will slow down game.
The Bottom Line: I wouldn't recommend the game if you are not going to buy the expansion packs. The expansion packs are what re-invent the game and make it interesting again.

Pros: Get to live a life you've never had, or one that you want to have.
Cons: None of the characters speak English, so you never know what they are saying.
The Bottom Line: My final recommendation is that you should buy this game because it's enjoyable and fun for all ages.

Pros: It's a Sims product.
Cons: Isn't Sims 1: Loads slowly throughout game, colors too dark, dizzying rotation for changing viewpoint
The Bottom Line: I want my money back. If you are interested in buying my game, let me know. I'm sticking to the original Sims.
